Dr. Sutton spent four years at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Three of those years were spent completing an internal medicine residency program. The fourth year was spent in a cardiology fellowship. Dr. Sutton serves as the medical director of Paris Community Hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation Department. He is also the medical director of the hospital's Special Care Unit. In addition, he interprets electrocardiograms (EKGs) and conducts stress tests that are performed at the hospital. Dr. Sutton is board certified in internal medicine
Beside serving the hospital in his medical capacity, Dr. Sutton is a member of the board of directors for the Hospital and Medical Foundation of Paris, Inc. He serves as the board's vice president.
Dr. Sutton is certainly all business when it comes to caring for his patients, but when he as the time, he can be -- well, sidetracked. One visit with him is all it takes to see he likes trains. His office is something of a railroad museum.
He and His wife, Carolyn, make their home in Paris. Mrs. Sutton, who is a licensed clinical social worker, does independent consulting for public and private social service organizations.
